Science writer and editor with over 12 years’ experience writing across a broad range of scientific and health-related disciplines.

I always say I know a little about a lot. I’m lucky enough to cover numerous different topics spanning the broad umbrella of ‘science’ including: climate change, weather and environmental science; astronomy and space science; sensors and optics; nanotechnology; material science; and medicine, health and wellbeing.

I don’t have a ‘specialist area’ per se, but I am drawn to topics with a green angle, whether that be how climate change is affecting our weather patterns and natural disasters, or how a newly developed material could replace carbon-emitting fossil fuels.

I also enjoy writing pieces focusing in the ‘how’ and ‘why’ – so why children starting primary school undergo certain health checks, or whether teeth are bones and how often we should be flossing them.

My articles have appeared in/on Technology Networks, EHN and EHN Extra, LiveScience, Forward, Harpers Bazaar, Forward, Patient, Netdoctor, Laboratory News, YourWeather and various AZo Networks and NS Media titles.

Copywriting projects include writing for Elsevier, Capital Life, Summize and Drug Discovery World.
